And the next person, the next elephant? The next person they met gave them elephant biscuits and they ate happily but the elephant biscuits were genetically modified and full of high fructose corn syrup and made the elephants sick, so they said. Something like that.
Somehow, one expects more from elephants than one flat person.

Thanks for your thoughts Ronald .. I like this, even though I am quoting myself, "If you do not have a destination, a goal, then how can you ever arrive there? At the same time, if you have a goal, but are fixated on arriving there, without really knowing where you are right now, you cannot fully know the steps you must take. To pursue your dreams and goals, AND to live fully in the present, THAT is key." Caitriona Reed

Thank you; I am convinced that choice is all I have in the eternal here and now, the here and now I call time. I can only be in the present moment.

My senses experience only that moment I am in with a limited capacity and fill up quickly.

The challenge is in making those moments as stimulating as I can. I have found that clutter and confusion along with too many choices make me loose the moment and drive me into a state of illusion.

” To get something you may have to give up something else”.

I can only eat one apple at a time, if I want an orange I must put the apple down. The trouble with me is although the orange looks good, I like apples so much I am afraid it will go bad or someone else will take it while I am eating the orange.

Fear of loss and poverty keep me from change. The void of choice and the unknown result of my choice is a large and unpredictable place once there, what I get my not be what I expected.

When the student is ready the master will come. Moving towards something I desire is for me poverty, the desire for something I don’t have is my definition of poverty, being satisfied with what I have is wealth.

I started with a dipper when it got soiled my mother changed it. She taught me to use the toilet not for me but so she wouldn’t have to change my dipper. Today I learn something to replace what I know but I am still not sure who benefits from it or whither I really need to know.

Ahh, when one is most uncomfortable, one is undergoing the greatest growth.

I'm confused, the psychiatrist in your story, did this woman walk out of his office and go somewhere else for hypnotherapy? Did he do the hypnosis? It's not clear how she reacted to his criminal behaviour.

I love NLP. I'm a huge fan, I just wish everyone would get on board with it. So much pain and suffering could be ended almost instantly, from within ourselves and then that which is inflicted upon others, causing pain and suffering within them. It's a vicious cycle. I credit NLP with helping me overcome devastating circumstances that I would have been able to any other way. It completely shifted how I see them and the negative impact they had on me. It's incredibly healing. Best of luck with your upcoming event :)
